Every musical journey needs a moment where practice turns into performance. Following our inaugural edition, Muse Hub is hosting the second edition of Sing It Up—a community musical competition designed for singers who want the authentic experience of performing live under stage lights before a supportive audience.
Whether you are an aspiring vocalist looking to test your skills before industry musicians or someone who simply loves to sing and wants real stage exposure, this platform is built to encourage, celebrate, and showcase your vocal craft.
Two Dedicated Divisions
Venue: Muse Hub, Level 1, 27 Railway Pde, Westmead, NSW 2145
Sing It Up Jr. (Under 18 Years)
- Date: Sat, 17th Oct 2026
- Eligibility: Under 18 years of age as of 17 October 2026
- Preliminary Round: 4:00 PM onwards
- Grand Finale: 7:00 PM onwards
Sing It Up (Adults 18+)
- Date: Sat, 24th Oct 2026
- Eligibility: 18 years and above as of 17 October 2026
- Preliminary Round: 4:00 PM onwards
- Grand Finale: 7:00 PM onwards
What Your Entry Includes
Your entry is more than a contest slot—it is a complete performance experience:
- Stage Performance Experience: Sing with professional acoustic treatment, dynamic stage lighting, and sound monitoring.
- Official Certificate of Participation: Awarded to every single participant in recognition of their dedication and stage appearance.
- Professional Performance Video: A multi-angle, quality recording of your stage performance will be uploaded to Muse Hub’s YouTube channel. A direct video link/file is provided upon request for your personal portfolio, family archives, or social channels—fully covered within the registration fee.
- Distinguished Jury: Receive constructive evaluation from accomplished musicians and performers established in the Sydney Indian music scene.
- Top 3 Placement Awards: The top 3 finalists in each division receive attractive trophies, curated gifts, and stage recognition.
Registration & Guest Access
- Participant Fee: $45 per singer (includes full stage slot, jury review, participation certificate, and individual performance video upload/delivery).
- Audience Entry: Free admission for friends and family.
- Studio Seating Capacity: To ensure a comfortable, focused studio environment for all performers, requesting the patrons to limit guests to 4 per participant.
Competition Format & Guidelines
Song Selection:
- Tracks must be Indian cinema songs (any Indian language).
- Classical and semi-classical selections are preferred and encouraged
Rounds:
- Round 1 (Preliminary): One song, strictly up to 5 minutes. The jury selects 5 finalists for the next stage.
- Round 2 (Grand Finale): The top 5 finalists perform a second song (up to 5 minutes) the same evening at 7:00 PM to determine the top 3 winners.
Preparation & Audio Tracks:
- Prepare 2 distinct songs.
- Email only your Round 1 backing track (.mp3 or .wav) prior to the event to muse.hub.au@gmail.com using the naming standard:
ParticipantName_SongName_Language (e.g., AaravSharma_AlbelaSajan_Hindi.mp3) - Keep your Round 2 track ready on a USB flash drive or phone on the event day in case you qualify for the finale.
